Já ativei o javascript no chrome e no firefox, mas nos sites em que entro dá que o javascript está desativado. Baixei o Java oficial para navegadores e não consegui nada ainda.

Sim, tenho certeza que está ativo pela ferramenta do navegador, mas nos sites mostra que está desativado e no https://www.cyscape.com/showbrow.asp, também mostra inativo(enabled)

Não tenho ideia do que fazer...

Já tentou reinstalar o navegador?
